I’m running a DND game (always the DM *sigh*). I need ideas as to why my evil cult are stealing magical items from various cultures. I really don’t want to go down the summoning an elder God/demon route. Any suggestions please? The cult has found old grimoires that suggest the magic in the items they're procuring can be used in rituals that will make cult members young and vigorous again, and keep them that way as their lifespans are extended for centuries, perhaps indefinitely.
