Hey Keith ! I was wondering if Couatl in Eberron are meant to be more powerful than the vanilla version . Seems a bit lackluster when you think about what they were confronted to. My inclination is to think to the couatl as a CLASS of celestial, like "angel" or "archon." The CR 4 couatl that currently has stats in #dnd5e is a relatively minor guardian, but there could be others that are far more powerful.
