If an Avowed of Candlekeep was away adventuring and found a library of books valued at 50,000gp. Would Candlekeep compensate them as valued or pay them less (or not at all)? Would it be expected that Avowed donate all books they find to the keep? The Avowed would expect to donate all the suitable books they found to the Keep.
They've devoted their lives to their faith, it's not just a cool job.
