If one were to play the Becoming God from Exploring Eberron as a character, what would the most appropriate class and subclass be? I've always played the Becoming God as aspirational; they're working to create a vessel. But if I WERE to make a character who believed they WERE the Becoming God? I'd personally make them an artificer, perhaps using the UA Armorer subclass to reflect them improving their form.

Ah okay! I was thinking Forge Cleric but wasn’t 100% sure. But I think I’ve mostly misinterpreted the text, but thanks so much for answering I am currently playing a warforged Forge cleric who's a PRIEST of the Becoming God in a campaign I'm in. If I was playing a character who WAS the Becoming God, I'd personally choose artifice over divine magic, because they are BUILDING, not merely BELIEVING.
