if somebody who studies Demons is called a Demonologist, what is somebody who studies Devils called? Devilologist sounds weird. Classically (not just in the Realms) those who study devil lore are Diabologists. (Yes, I went to school back when students were taught USEFUL things.)

infernalist perhaps? Great word, but Christian theology was around long before roleplaying games, and grabbed that term for those who study "hell" (or "the hells," if you prefer). And theologists even distinguished that study from the study of devils. Damned thorough of them. Er, let me rephrase…
