I enjoy reading about the Kalashtar, but I’m curious if the quori spirits can only be linked to ‘humans’ or ‘humanoids.’ Are they able to link to non-human species, like goblinoids or elves? The kalashtar were created when a group of rebel quori bonded to a group of Adaran monks; all current kalashtar are descended from those monks. If you wanted to create a NEW group of kalashtar, you could choose another species, but they'd have to have different traits.
