If you say playing a fighter in D&D is “basic” or “boring” then you don’t have much of an imagination bruh. In some contexts those are fair calls. Champion is basic. It's simple by design. That's okay.
If fighter playstyle doesn't excite you, that makes it boring for you. Fair enough.
But I'll tell ya, they are effective at what they do, and if you're into it, damn are they fun.
