If you’re writing a module for any TTRPG, I’m a fan of giving the GM the specifics. Provide proper names, give timelines and distances, and do anything to make the GM’s life easier. The GM already knows they CAN change stuff, but don’t MAKE them do that work by omitting details. This, by the way, not to say that you should plot out an entire adventure tightly. Rather that it's better to say "Mayor Greencloak" than "The Mayor" and "Three centuries ago" rather than "Long ago" and "About three miles away" rather than "nearby."
