@TheEdVerse Hey Ed! Hope you're doing well. In the Eye of the Beholder game, the original Xanathar's lair was below a drow colony, a thri-kreen hive, a lost dwarf kingdom and much more. How much would you consider canonical? And which dwarf clan was Prince Kiergar part of?

1)
It was all canonical—for that lair.
By 1459 DR, the thri-keen are long gone, and the relatively few surviving drow relocated to Skullport and lower levels of Undermountain. The lost dwarf kingdom is similarly abandoned, though… 2)
…some of the passages and chambers remain (others were collapsed, leading to these particular dwarves departing Undermountain for “safer” Underdark areas near Secomber).
Prince Kiergar is of Clan Hallowstone, a clan cobbled…#Realmslore— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) February 13, 2021

…together by his father Kruen and uncles (all dead by the time of the EYE game) from outcasts and wandering clanless dwarves. They claimed to be descendants of Clan Melairkyn, who delved out most of Undermountain (as their… 4)
…home, Melairbode), but this was a fabrication.
(And I’m doing okay. Just busybusybusy, as usual. Twelve projects on the go at once. Some of them Realms-related, yes.)#Realmslore— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) February 13, 2021
Keirgar’s father was Teirgoh. He features in the game alongside his son.
Where did you get this information from? It contradicts that given in the game. Cheers! I got it from the designers of the game, back when it was being made, and they (through TSR) sent a walkthrough and storyline to me for my approval.#Realmslore
