In the Forgotten Realms what human nations would be likely to go to war with one another? Be it a short conflict between nations or a long prolonged war. Heh. Nigh all of them. Yes, it varies over time, but there are ALWAYS frictions between Thay and Aglarond. And if you're talking financial war, assassinations, and skirmishes, not armies marching, there's a triangle of Cormyr, Zhentil Keep, and Sembia; always trading but sniping.
