Hi @SageAdviceDnD is it ever ok to let a character change their subclass? @KoboldPress just released an awesome new primal path that fits our campaign really well. But we didn’t know about it until too late. Of course it's okay! There are no rules for it, but if it fits the fun and your group are okay with it, go for it! #WotCStaff

Thank you. It does. The Honey Queen is already an allied NPC in our campaign. A Hive Tender is a natural fit. @Fdrmfrank I've done one dramatic full-class switch in World Tree Burns, and we have a potential subclass change looming (but a bit more understated).
It's a great place for story beats that link directly to character development and player satisfaction.

I have a multi-classes rogue/mystic in our campaign, and every time Unearthed Arcana released a new version of the Mystic (3 and counting), his abilities have magically (psionically?) changed along with him.
We role-play the changes, and it's an interesting wrinkle. 😀
