@Poetinabox 2/3) …alloy, is very hard and SUPPLE. Great for armor/shields/work surfaces. Not so good for edged weapons, because doesn't hold edge well

@Poetinabox 3/3). You can make adamantine swords, and they'll bend and spring back instead of breaking, but you'll have to sharpen them OFTEN.

So you could make blunt weapons
Xanathar’s says that weapons made from adamantine do critical hit damage against objects and there’s adamantine weapons in adventures like the Sunless Citadel. I dont understand why he’s saying adamantine doesnt work well for weapons?
