s the #dnd Ghast etymology from gast, to frighten?
Is this correct???https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/gast The word is Germanic in origin, its original form meaning/relating to ghosts.Then "ghast" in Middle English meant "terrify." In modern English we have "aghast" and "ghastly" all hanging around similar circles.

So, Ghast is “Terrifying Ghoul”, in a sense Yep! Ghoul, but scarier! Their paralysis also affects elves (which ghoul version doesn't). So that's suuuuper scary. 😛💀
