Ed, really enjoyed the Mages&Sages cast last night! ((Ed note: is now much longer ago)) I have a few follow-up Q’s on the Sleeping Kraken; was that ‘sleeping’ as in ‘slumbering’ or as ‘biding its time’? And on the wards used to bind it, were they set by Ahghairon? Halaster? Someone else? Thanks again!

Sleeping as in “sunk in magically-induced and -maintained slumber.” (Drowned Kraken lies dreaming… ;} ). The wards binding it were initially cast by Ahghairon, checked on and renewed by Khelben, and augmented and renewed by… 2)
…several Watchful Order magists since.
