Is there anyway to play a good necromancer? Certainly. Good is a struggle, not "automatically always doing the right thing." And the ends vs. means moral argument never ends. So, why did the character become a necromancer, and what is their life dedicated to/mainly concerned with?

They chose necromancy because it was a family thing and the character is about living life and enjoyment. So, could the necromancer truly believe that the living are torn from life (or quality life, if sorely injured or ill, and dying slowly) too soon? And should be "kept around" to experience (enjoy) more, do more, contribute more, and make more of a difference?
