Hmm, a trunk is all muscle, pretty much…at a reach of 5 ft, I would probably give it a weight limit of 40 – 50 lbs. You could probably expand on the trunk traits/feats so that players can do things like unarmed attacks, etc. with them. You can make an unarmed strike with it: "You can use it to do anything a hand can do …"

Can you make any sort of dex check with the trunk? You can use it to do anything a hand can do, with the noted exceptions.
