MM isn’t the best gm, (sorry @matthewmercer ) but because of him being a professional voice actor his characters are more memorable as he has the vocal range and talent to make hundreds of characters unique and memorable. But good Lord, Matt raise the CR up a bit, lol No reason to apologize, I’m definitely not!
As for CR, I place player enjoyment over continuously “deadly” encounters. Some are designed to be more fun than a serious threat. Other times, the players surprise me (levelups always lead to a new learning curve of player challenge)
