Tangential to Monks, I really wish they’d put out some rules for dealing damage while grappling and throwing enemies when unarmed. As it stands now, the rules only really support “striking” martial arts.
It’d be nice to also have official rules for doing things like suplexing an enemy into the dirt, dealing damage AND dropping them prone at the same time.
It could have certain costs and requirements for each different option, both to balance them and to keep it realistic. For example, in order to Suplex someone, you should probably need to be Grappling them first, and it should probably knock both combatants prone.
