New #DnD house rule:
Warlocks get dragged off to hell/the fey wild/yith at some point.
Their player does not get to decide when.
That's what you get for making pacts with the unnameable.— Jack Graham (@jackgraham) July 14, 2019
I like it. Pacts should be serious business; more serious than a Paladin’s oath or a Cleric’s faith. Your character cut a deal with a godlike power to get magic. That’s not a “no-strings” event. I’d add that as a PC gains Warlock levels, they show physical signs of the pact We did “hag marks” in a campaign, where all warlocks in a pact with one of the hags who ruled various regions of the country showed a sign of their patron.
My warlock had one sickly yellow eye of a night hag instead of his own eye. The servants of another had a third nipple.

There were also terms of warlock pacts beyond the scope of what was presented in the PHB. I know one term up front, but there were a few hidden I had to discover and find a way to overcome.
