Orc question. For the Clans, do they favor particular traditions from old Sarlonan nations? Or could you find syncretic hybrids of say Druidic traditions and the Pyrinean Creed? The humans of the Shadow Marches were primarily from Corvagura. It's important to note that it wasn't a planned wave of settlement like the Lhazaar expansion; it was scattered refugees fleeing the Sundering—so they didn't have a program of missionaries in place. With that said…

The Shadow Marches DO have syncretic traditions likely traced back to faint Pyrinean influence, such as Baalkan the Beastlord and Baaldra the Protector. Essentially, the humans didn’t establish religious INSTITUTIONS, but they shifted existing traditions a bit. Great! Do you have a list of those alternative names? Primarily interested in Dol Arrah, Dol Dorn, and Balinor (who I see you've named as Baalkan in the @InMyEberron preview)

Canonically, the only ones we’ve named are Baalkan, Baalda, and Ollarasht. I think it’s possible that, like Rusheme, they may have blended deities; I could see Baalkan as filling the role of both Dol Dorn and Balinor, and Baaldra the Protector being both Boldrei and Dol Arrah. … In part because large-scale war isn't something that plays a major role in the Marches. So Baalkan could embody both the hunter AND strength and courage; while Baaldra is both the hearth and the honorable defender of the hearth.

But if that doesn’t work, they haven’t been named canonically, so it’s up to you! Thanks! I've got an orc fighter who's going to go reconnect with her roots during a downtime so I'm trying to figure out what we're both discovering.
