Hey @matthewmercer, can I get a clarification on your new release of blood hunter? If you have access to multiple rites, can you activate them onto a single weapon. Order of ghostslayer rite revival states if you have more than one rite active you choose which one ends. Thoughts? Also the entry for crimson rite doesn't mention anything about a maximum number of rites able to be placed on a single weapon as far is I can tell from the wording. Overall, I love the changes and can't wait rebuild my blood hunter I've been playing with the changes. Amazing job!

Wondering if the blood hunter has to hurt themselves on the spot to activate the rite or can he use a vial of their own blood collected before? The blood must be fresh to be viable. 😉

Does it have to be their blood? Can they do some synergistic stuff, like cut the barbarian to get blood and have that attack put him into a rage? The nature of the rite is a sacrifice of the user’s blood (the ritual is a connection with yourself and your lifeblood), so unfortunately you couldn’t use another creature’s blood outside of a rare DM caveat.
