If you could physically go to anywhere in the realms where everything exists (magic, races, monsters), where would it be and why?Right now? I'd go to the Unicorn Run and enjoy a picnic with the Seven Sisters on its banks whilst watching the unicorns frolic and gambol.

Do you recall the name of a city in The Forgotten Realms the streets and layout of which formed a sigil to imprison a demon?
Hi! Do you recall the name of a city in The Forgotten Realms the streets and layout of which formed a sigil to imprison a demon? My search-fu fails me. might be the capitol of Thay – I think there's a demon imprisoned there

What voice do you imagine Elminster to have?
What voice do you imagine Elminster Aumar to have? Maybe @TheEdVerse could even chime in on this one. No answer is correct, just opinions here. Is there a specific actor you have imagined in the role as your reading? #nerdy #DnD for Manner of speech: Nicol Williamson as Merlin in EXCALIBUR.
Elminster: dry English accent with Welsh lilt (Robertson Davies). But his accent wanders thanks to so much world-hopping. I've voiced him thousands of times down the years. ;}— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) December 4, 2017
Where can an elvish archmage, fearing his past, go to protect his grandson and his parents?
Where can an elvish archmage, fearing his past, go to protect his grandson and his parents? Trying to find my rogue/mystic’s “hometown”. The archmage holds a Tome of the Stilled Tongue.
Somewhere off the beaten path maybe.
I’d love any help as The Realms are vast! Many places, from the Nelanther (Pirate Isles) to the Border Kingdoms to the Velen peninsula to upforest Aglarond…hmmm, preferred climate? Stay on the continent of Faerun? ?— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) November 30, 2017
How would the Waterdeep court system deal with the murder of a common thief?
Excuse me, @TheEdVerse, but my party seems to have found trouble in Waterdeep. They murdered a man who they saw aid in a mugging, the other suspects escaped, but now a couple of the party are in holding.
How would the court system deal with the murder of a common thief? 🤔 A magister [judge] will try the PCs (rather like our trials). Murder is a Severe Crime of The Second Plaint (Crimes Against The City). Conviction could mean a sentence of Death, or 10-15 years Enforced Hard Labor (these days, usually city wall/paving quarry-work). But… (1/2)— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) November 23, 2017
(2/2): …if the magister deems the killing "justified," or a Lord or guildmaster intervenes with the Palace, the charge will be reduced, or the trial postponed "forever" (pay fine, go free). Reduced charge means 2000gp fine, imprisonment for 1 day to 3 months. (FR1, both CoSs)

Does the Order of the Gauntlet have a main headquarter?
@Sernett @ChrisPerkinsDnD
Gentlemen–does the Order of the Gauntlet have a main hq or in the alternative, any hq or keeps whatsoever? If so, where abouts is it/are they located in Faerun? Thanks and happy holidays.— Entropic_Adventurer (@OhRiomh) December 3, 2017
The order operates primarily out of temples of Helm, Torm, and Tyr. The largest concentration of order members is in Helm’s Hold. #WOTCstaff https://t.co/u2pHhY3wyI

How terrifying would Szass Tam with the Hand of Vecna and the Wand of Orcus be?
@mikemearls How terrifying would Szass Tam with the Hand of Vecna and the Wand of Orcus be? CR? Asking for a friend…
— Brian Brush (@brian_the_red) September 30, 2017
Quite powerful – CR 25 – 30. He nearly attained godhood and sits atop a hierarchy of archmages all looking to replace him. https://t.co/vApnPX4RET
— Mike Mearls (@mikemearls) September 30, 2017
What do you like better, the eye of vecna or the hand? Since I started with ad&d the eye is so much more mysterious and fascinating I find the eye more interesting – bigger sacrifice, more interesting to consider how it might afflict its user

In DR 1486, are Red Wizards not in Thay still seen as evil?

Is friction between natives of Thay under Szass Tam and enclave Thayans something outsiders know? Or is that a ‘cold friction’? Thanks btw! You're very welcome! MOST outsiders wouldn't be aware of it, but astute traders and envoys (diplomats) who deal with Thayans would. But…
