In summary: "You can use your action to…": is NOT taking the Attack action, which is required for Extra Attack to function. Volley is its own thing. #WotCStaff

What about the 1st question of do you target all creatures w/Ranger’s Multiattack or only those you choose? "You can use your action to make [an attack] against any number of creatures…"

You aren't forced to attack everything, you can choose.

Why is Zodge keeping in the commoners in Baldur’s Gate? Is it similar to the Creed Resolute? Zodge is a tough as nails leader of the Flaming Fist. He's ambitious and is bucking for a promotion. He's loyal to Baldur's Gate, and is tasked with keeping the peace, but maaaaybe not above being corrupted (if the price is right.)

This different-from-other-area-effects SA question came up in a RAW/RAI FB group: in the following pic, if the template for Thunderwave is applied as per the gray zone, are all squares X’d affected by the spell? Only squares that are at least half covered.

why can certain casters cast spells while others cannot? Chaos bolt sorcerer only? Bard cure wounds, not divine caster?
