Not sure anyone cares, but it takes me about 24 hours to write art descriptions for a 224-page D&D book. It’s a fun assignment, but the best part is seeing what the illustrators do with them. I first create a spreadsheet that lists the illustrations by chapter and notes the size and subject of each. It helps make sure art is spread evenly throughout. Once that’s done, I can write the descriptions quickly without having to stop and think about them. #wotcstaff

I do most of my creative work on weekends, in the early mornings before meetings, and on holidays. #wotcstaff Since we're not in the office anymore I've shifted back into some freelancer habits. Late nights tend to be when the creative lightning strikes for me these days. That's when I can really sit and get into a flow.

Is the intention for Fury of the Tides to damage just the target, or also the object/creature they impact?
Also, for Marine Layer, the creatures you choose to see through the fog: choose them when you channel divinity, or at any time? If they then move further away from you? Just the target, not what it collided with.
As for Marine Layer, it’s intended to be any creature that comes within and stays within 5 feet of you during the duration, but we’ll see how that plays out in practice. 😉

Right now we are on hiatus to let another DM run his game, but my game set in Forgotten Realms is turning out to be a favorite of our group. Right now I am having several Chosen of Mystra having the party go …out and craft powerful magic items. The whole point of this campaign is to craft legendary magic items that haven't been seen on the Sword Coast in ages. Each player is crafting a different item tailored to that character. So far, I have used the primordial forge in Gauntlgrim…and the loom of a noble djinn to craft a holy avenger and robes of the archmage. I was wondering if you all had any other suggestions for crafting of legendary items, such as legendary or mythic forges or other crafting facilities on or accessible from the Sword Coast?

Do the days of a tenday in the Realms have specific names? if so where are they listed. Thanks in advance for any help. A specific day is referred to as "the tenth of Ches" or "the score-and-six of Tarsakh" but specific day-names (like our Monday, Tuesday, etc.) have never caught on, into widespread use in the Realms, likely due to so many competing faiths and rulers wanting their own.#Realmslore

Hi Ed. So would this mean that in “olden times” that Chondath/the early Sembian colonies used a 7-day “week” as opposed to the ten-day now seen more commonly in the Realms? If so, does Chondath still observe a 7-day “week”?No, they were tendays there and then, too. I just didn't include the last three days in my lore reply.
