I've been playing through Baldur's Gate 2 with a friend and was wondering, does Lavok's planar sphere remain in Athkatla's bridge district after the events of the game, or does it disappear again sometime before the 1490's (due to the…— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) August 3, 2020

However, there are some who believe a secret society magically moved and hid it, somewhere in the city, so only they know how to access it.
Interestingly, Elminster refuses to say.#Realmslore— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) August 3, 2020
In #dnd 5e, how do I protect my stronghold from unfriendly teleportation? In the Realms, that's what mythals are for. And why characters can't cast spells of that magnitude.

We were just sitting down to tea
When we heard it ring out, as plain can be
The Great Dark Dragon’s angry, hungry roar
As it came tearing apart cottages—and cottagers—once more— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) May 28, 2020
The monster’s eyes blazed with real flames as it did pass
Its roars a great deep rumbling, but mayhap just gut-gas
Much death it dealt, as it slithered ponderously on its way
Devouring armies, even to their banners in bright array— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) May 29, 2020
believe i read this somewhere last night but can’t find it – in addition to specifying the conditions for an overlord’s release, would the draconic prophecy specify the conditions for their being rebound once (partially or wholly) released? Absolutely. The Prophecy is a map to possible futures; you just have to find the path leading to the future you want.

In Baldur's Gate Descent into Avernus nothing about the Silvershield family is mentioned. Could you clarify how this family would be on the adventure date?@TheEdVerse @adamofadventure @FRWiki

I got rid of most of my 70’s and 80’s boardgames over the years but just stumbled upon this from the old TSR range… bonus if you know what this page is from;) Palace of the Silver Princess (orange cover)
— JOE MANGANIELLO (@JoeManganiello) August 2, 2020
Also, it caused quite a ruckus, and was pulled back by TSR to get destroyed because the illustration had been approved through a series of trickster moves and “fixes”. Tensions were high at TSR then, can’t remember the details but it was the beginning of the end of the First Age. The art got the module pulled because the heads on the monsters (ubues) were the heads of senior TSR staff. Gary was not happy.
— Mystara (@Mystara9) August 2, 2020
Actually Gary wasn’t offended. He thought it was funny. Kevin Blume on the other hand was worried it would affect toy sales… The manuscript also had some technical problems which helped it to get scrapped namely you couldn’t get from level 1 to level 2…
