if someone wanted to add, remove or change a dragonmark (Abberrant or otherwise) would they be able to do so with True Polymorphing, True Ressurecting, or Reincarnating into new bodies? Or would the Dragonmark just transfer? There is no established way to remove a dragonmark. As seen in the novel City of Towers, this doesn’t mean that it’s impossible; a daelkyr or Mordain the Fleshweaver might be able to do it. But there’s no established method and it’s certainly not as simple as polymorphing.

Please forgive naive question: if undead are both/neither alive and/nor dead, why are they worshipping a god of the Dead? Why is there no god of the Undead, constantly in tension with Kelemvor & Isis or Apollo? Or could they worship Celtic Arawn?

Your question arises out of mortal confusion as to who the gods really are, as individuals, and what they do.
Portfolios are our way of trying to understand what genres/fields of endeavour/concepts/professions/topics they seek to dominate, bolstered by titles 2)

Beholders worshipping beholders is something I’ve never thought of! I love this! Although this was downplayed in the published Realmslore of the time, there's a Beholder Cultist depicted in the clergy groups in the 2e FORGOTTEN REALMS ADVENTURES tome. In Eberron book there is this part: “Saidan Boromar is married to an unmarked heir of House Jorasco, Mala Boromar d’Jorasco”. I thought only marked members are allowed to use the d’ prefix. Is this a misprint?

Quick question: in Rising from the Last War, there is this part: “Saidan Boromar is married to an unmarked heir of House Jorasco, Mala Boromar d’Jorasco”. I thought only marked members are allowed to use the d’ prefix. Is this a misprint? Thank you in advance! It’s an error, because the rules on the d’ have changed. You can drop the d’, but I’d personally be inclined to let her have the mark. It would certainly be useful for the Boromars!

What would the offspring of a Dwarf and an Elf look like, and could they (potentially) get both a Dwarf’s magic resistance and an Elf’s magic affinity?

…Or are they not compatible and thus would produce no offspring together? A few dwarf and elf pairings will be infertile, but in general, ALL the sentient mammalian races of the Realms are cross-fertile, and dwarf/elf offspring COULD get both, but…likely both weak/lessened if they do. History: wild talent and magic affinity most likely.#Realmslore

I think there are some people out there who get frustrated that their game isn't CR and they blame their DM, or their players, or the system.

I'm not sure those people are interested in playing D&D. I think they want to BE on CR. That's the fantasy for them.

in hindsight it does seem a bit silly that #dnd has two completely different monsters that are both angry big-claw spike-toads that are also chaotic evil last weekend one of my groups fought a hezrou (left), and yesterday the second of my groups fought a bunch of red slaad (right). very silly seeing them both side-by-side on my desktop
