Was it intentional that partial casters like Paladins contribute fewer spellcaster levels when multiclassing than they normally have while single-classed? If not, is there any chance of errata so partial casters round their levels up after diving by 2 or 3, like Artificers? The math on multiclassing spellcasters is correct in the multiclassing rules.

Letting the Paladin upgrade their armor so the gauntlets deal 1d4 bludgeoning damage and can be considered a melee weapon so that they can turn a punch into a smite.

Dragon Heist lists Jarly iCarly at CR 15 and Gangplank is CR 12 it’d be clooooseIts the 24 AC. At +9 to hit, is only going to hit on 30% of his attacks. Meanwhile, Jarlaxle has +14 to hit against an AC of 18. He's going to hit 85% of the time. Even the canon barrage is DC17 dex save where Jarlaxle is +11.
