@TaviczCan a rider on his warhorse uses its hooves to attack instead of his own Attack action? I believe so, if the horse us trained for combat

What is the opposing skill check for intimidation?
@DrThePunisherWhat is the opposing skill check for intimidation? Say I didn’t want to get intimidated. Couldn’t find a great answer online. I'd make it charisma insight or diplomacy

Do you have a recommendation on handling “monster knowledge checks” in 5e?
@scotthertzbergdo you have a recommendation on handling “monster knowledge checks” in 5e? Wondering if DC 10+CR or something would work. 10+CR is reasonable – with the caveat that I'd allow it only for creatures that could reasonably be learned about
— Mike Mearls (@mikemearls) March 2, 2015
@scotthertzberg In my games, I don't allow checks for weird creatures that a PC couldn't have possibly heard about.

@scotthertzbergmakes sense – thinking about how PCs might know about a skeletons vulnerability to bludgeoning or something Yeah – i like to use it for stuff you might hear about in a tavern or from veteran adventurers

Tricky solo
@GtotheWaveAlso, the isolated dragon died in 1 round to the dwarf army. Poor Guy. I think we need more testing. yeah, solos will be tricky to balance

Solo AC
@GtotheWaveThe only rule we’re not sure about: If a joined solos stand is attacked in melee, does the solo use its own ac vs the attack too solo uses it’s AC

Armies movement
@disquetteIs my math wrong, or are humans in the battle system walking at less than 1.5mph, and “dash”ing at less than 3mph? probably – not sure how that matches up to historical realities of land combat

Solo in a minute
@mikemearlsCouple people asked – in mass combat, a solo attacks a stand using a normal attack. Rules assume solo is making lots of attacks. Attached Solos as well? Take 10 turns (spells, attacks, skill checks) during the 1 minute their Unit performs a Battle Action?
— Sean Bonney (@seanbonney) March 3, 2015
@seanbonney the system abstracts that into one effective turn — Mike Mearls (@mikemearls) March 3, 2015

Stand Hit points
@jay_jaydraperI’m probably being stupid here, but just to clarify, a stand has the same hp as one of its component creatures? correct
