Streamed #DnD shows are not invalid because you think they’re “scripted” when they’re no more player-forgiving than most home games
The players being actors or in drama-related fields doesn’t make their play “fake”

To this day matt, I feel like you fudged a nat 1 during a pretty emotional scene with scanlan during the middle of the first campaign. I know that in reality you didn’t but it was so poetic that it happened like that It’s those rare moments when a roll fits into the narrative perfectly that I remember fondest. I had prepared for it being a longer, drawn out conflict, something leading to a messier confrontation and process, but good RPing and a perfect die roll led to an unexpected moment. 🙂
