Elves call their own spoken language Lalur (“The Singing”). They refer collectively to other languages as Glahkery (“sound-strife”).
Dwarves call their own spoken language Arltah (”Dwarf-converse”). 2)
Gnomes call themselves Doamun (translated as both “Enduring-Folk” and “Steadfast-Us”), and their spoken language (referred to in Common as “Gnometalk,” BTW) as “Munthar” (“us-clack” or “our-speech”).#Realmslore

Ah. Thay's led by evil, and deals in slaves. Other countries (particularly neighbours like Rashemen and Aglarond) think of it as evil and rapacious.
However, to "just plain" Thayans, it's all they've known and "just the way life is."

No, the Palace is very firm against attempts by nobles and guilds to influence street names. The “people” decide, often overriding formal names with their preferences. In this case, they decided on Anteos and Phull (the noble families were delighted). 2)
The Brossfeathers deliberately chose to buy and build nigh Brassfeather Lane, because of its (pre-existing) name.
It's named for a famous-in-his-day long-dead smith and metals caster, the gnome Huldeth Brossfeather, whose home and workshop once fronted on it.#Realmslore

How much of the torillian elvish language/alphabet do you have written up? Thanks to @gkrashos tirelessly compiling lexicons for many tongues, and the creativity of many folks working in the Realms down the years, we have a pretty good bare-bones beginning: about 600 Elvish words. And I created Espruar and another elven script 52 years ago.#Realmslore

So, the quick answer is that clubs, eateries, and the homes of the noble and wealthy have garderobes (toilets), that flush with foot-treadles; the water comes from rooftop rainwater cisterns that can be filled in dry weather… 2)
…by pumping. Hand-pumps serve most washbasins adjacent to them, and everyone has a standing-right-by ewer for pouring water to flush, and for carrying water elsewhere or dumping it over your head while washing hair.#Realmslore

Oh, yes. This has all been covered, multiple times. (There's even a scene in Cormyr in one of my novels where a character is paying to empty her chamber pot into the regular nightsoil wagon.) TSR did tend to censor graphic details of garderobe/privy/jakes use.#Realmslore
