Oh, yes. The Netherese experimented with EVERYTHING. And Halruaan families use the caster’s blood in certain spells that link willing recipients to the caster. 2)

If one were to say Lugh was a phonetic corruption of Loki by the Norse’s Celtic neighbours would that track? In your own fantasy setting, you could say that for setting purposes, but when it comes to real-world folklore, it's highly likely the two names are just "sorta soundalikes," of quite different origins.

so, given how gods work, is possible that simply from the name Loki, being said loki could have a small foothold in the realms, his followers if any simply being obscure? Yes. If a god has 1 devout worshipper (believer who acts on the basis of that belief from time to time) in a place, they have a tiny foothold (awareness, can communicate in dream-visions with that worshipper). Hey Ed, another question that may help me in a campaign! Would Storm Silverhand introduce herself to a stranger as just Storm or would she use the full Ethena Astorma Silverhand? Or maybe when introduced by someone else? Just "Storm."
In the home Realms campaign she was once introduced rather grandly by an NPC doorwarden, and gently cut him off with, "Storm is sufficient."

I’d venture a guess that it’s just her character. When compared to her sisters like Sylune, Laeral and Alustriel, she never did strike me as, let’s say, “ladylike” 😀 Lathlaer has the right of it: it's just her character. Storm is down to earth and direct. Not rude/aggressive, but she doesn't love pomp or formality. Remember how long the Chosen have lived; they're largely beyond fear or even prudence, except when it comes to protecting others.

Almost all had a Low Netherese demesne of farms beneath them (or as a base). There were also non-flying, spired fortress ground enclaves. Netheril WAS an empire.#Realmslore

Time to go dungeon delving..! What creatures can we expect in these former citadels? Just about anything that likes the climate they're located in. Most are in remote wilderlands, and they make great lairs. The problem if you're "small fry" but not really small, is that if something like a dragon moves in, it gets inhospitable for everyone else, fast.#Realmslore

Hey Ed, I have a question that may help me in the upcoming days of my campaign. What is the difference between Piergeiron’s Palace and Castle Waterdeep? The line between them is a bit unclear to me. If one had an audience with the Open Lord, where would it take place? The Palace is the seat of municipal government. The Open Lord works there and has a suite of rooms to stay in; any audience would be there.
