@maxximenez @mikemearls @ChrisPerkinsDnDbesides humans, gnomes, warforged and dwarves: favorite artificer race? I love warforged artificers because you can self-enchant & tinkering. I'll think about others.

Only the Gunsmith artificer is proficient with the Thunder Cannon, correct?
@DorianXander @JeremyECrawfordOnly the Gunsmith artificer is proficient with the Thunder Cannon, correct? Can other classes gain prof in it? i wouldn't allow it – i'd use DMG rules for firearms if everyone wants to get all shooty #WOTCstaff

Is there any limit to the number of Alchemical Formulas you can use?
@thepanDMis there any limit to the number of Alchemical Formulas you can use? EG, could one just endlessly throw acid? Any limits are noted in the class feature.

Artificer spells known per day, & spell list more limited than previous editions. Intentional?
@mikemearlsArtificer spells known, p/ day, & spell list more limited than previous editions. Intentional? Used to be very versatile also why some spells left out of list? e.g Knock, Elemental Weapon, Mage Armor all fit class theme, & no Repair Damage

@EladGilo erred on making it more conservative, but I think feedback is we should expand it #wotcstaff

What’s the multiclassing prerequisite for the Artificer?
@mikemearls @JeremyECrawford What's the multiclassing prereq for the Artificer? Intelligence 13 like the Wizard?
— Lord Zabel Zarock (@DorianXander) January 10, 2017
Like all Unearthed Arcana material, the artificer hasn't been tuned for multiclassing. #DnD https://t.co/WG3awOfKRl

Why doesn’t GunSmith use int bonus to hit?
@ZalbarTheMad Why doesn’t GunSmith use int bonus to hit? Have to main int+dex? Though realistically I see why. Still…MAGIC gun The gun is designed to be a ranged weapon, rather than a spell attack. We’ll see if that sits well with playtesters.

Does the magic item created by Artificer count against the number of attuned magic items?
@Aahhzmandiusdoes the magic item created from Wondrous Invention count against the # of attuned magic items a UA Artificer can have? Difficult to answer this question because it seems to incorrectly assume that all magic items require attunement
