Debate I'm having with a friend.
If fighting a tarrasque and I cast wish to wish for a bottomless pit to form under the tarrasque instantaneously, making sure the hole is big enough that it can't grab the sides, does it still get to make a save roll?— Anthony Carlson (@Von_Bolo) July 10, 2018
No need to make a save – the pit does form, but it is 1 mile beneath the surface of the planet. But a DM who was nicer would probably give it a save, and let it eventually dig its claws into the side to stop its fall, start climbing https://t.co/dFaG3H99MF
