Well met once again! Anything you can share about what the Plains of Purple Dust and/or the Raurin Desert are like in your original home Realms? Very quick answer: find a copy of WARLOCKS AND WARRIORS (Putnam's, 1970, edited by L. Sprague de Camp) that still has the dustjacket with the Jim Steranko cover of human warrior on horseback facing off against lizard man (mass market pbk has same). Visual inspiration for both.
