Hey Keith. Got a question for you. I know that Warforged don’t have to eat or drink, but they can if they want to. If they do, what happens to the stuff they eat or drink? How is waste handled? It's up to the DM. In MY Eberron warforged can't actually consume anything; they can drain the magic essence from consumable items like potions or Heroes' Feast, but then they have to just spit the rest out.

Do they have a sense of taste? There's no reason for them to have a sense of taste, but the rules don't say that they DON'T and it's not intended to penalize them. Personally, I like the idea that they don't, but that some artificer has designed a tongue attachment that grants it (a common magic item).
