This is why eliminating Low-Light vision as a separate thing was a dumb move. There are a ton of animals that should be able to see very well in low light conditions, but since you all don’t want to give them darkvision they suffer unreasonable penalties in low light by RAW. It’s not like this is a complicated issue either, it’s very easily addressed and was correctly addressed in previous additions.
