A question on food for two game designers – I have seen “honeycakes” mentioned in many of your Realms novels @e_cunningham and a few of @TheEdVerse’s sourcebooks, but never are they described.

What exactly are they? What’s it look like/made of? Are they based on a real desert? I envision them as similar to German lebkuchen, made with honey and spices and cut into small squares.

I agree! Sword Coast versions usually have no nuts or very few, and are light on lemon and orange peel. The farther east and south you go, the more of both you'll find in them. Oh, and many farmhouse honeycakes aren't cut into small anything; they're big discs. :}#Realmslore
