What if reskinning a spell’s visuals impacts the PC knowledge its function? Ex. Wall of Force is specific on what does & doesn’t work. Allow Int (Arcana) check as bonus action to say “Oh this dome of translucent viscera is a wall of force; we need disintegrate”? That's a great use of Arcana, determining the specific function of a spell that isn't immediately familiar.
