Question I haven’t been able to find much info on: what is the relationship between Droaam and Darguun? Is there conflict? Is there a real world parallel? Darguun and Droaam don't have much of a relationship. The nations don't share a border or have a strong economic relationship; Darguun is a Thronehold nation and Droaam isn't. Beyond that…

While both Droaam and Darguun are populated by creatures commonly considered to be monsters, there’s little cultural overlap between them. There are relatively few hobgoblins and bugbears in Droaam, and the Droaamite goblins are culturally quite different from the Darguuls Also, Droaam has only existed as a nation for a decade. In my novel The Queen of Stone, Darguun sends an ambassador to the Crag summit along with the other Thronehold nations. They're open to establishing a relationship, but in 998 YK they don't have strong connections.
