@ishman223what situations are appropriate for Perception checks vs. Passive Perception? Can you vid an example for a DM in-training? Active generally is driven by a player asking to look for something, or something fairly viable. Passive is hidden, non-active

@ishman223So… party walks into an area with bodies, if passive is X or higher, they roll perception to see creature lying in wait?y/n If passive is higher than creature's stealth roll, they see them automatically. If no one's is, and they ask to check, then roll
