@TheEdVerse What were the most far-flung Netherese enclaves when Karsus's Folly occurred? Are there any unexplored ones in strange places today?

1)
“Most far-flung” depends on your reference point; if that’s the Sword Coast, then the best-candidate Netherese enclaves (that still exist, crashed, ruined, abandoned, overgrown, and monster-infested today) would likely be the…2)
…flying cities of Arongahurr, above the NE-most Shadowmount Peaks (on the frigid shores of Yal Tengri); Telarrzhard (in the peaks NE of Nix, nigh The Yehimal); and Urvraunt (in the NE-most Mountains of Amara).
(And yes, all unexplored.)#Realmslore— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) February 13, 2021
How many enclaves were there? Makes one think the skies were littered with floating cities. Most sages today put the number of flying cities that they can name and identify between 40 and 60. Almost all had a Low Netherese demesne of farms beneath them (or as a base). There were also non-flying, spired fortress ground enclaves. Netheril WAS an empire.#Realmslore

Which one is still exist?(Not crashed, ruined, abandoned, overgrown, and monster-infested) You mean flying cities of Netheril that are undamaged and still inhabited?
Oooh, that's NDA.
But a hint: look for a city that was on the ground and so never crashed, that's now inhabited by others than the Netherese.
Second hint: there's more than one of them.#Realmslore— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) February 14, 2021
Time to go dungeon delving..! What creatures can we expect in these former citadels? Just about anything that likes the climate they're located in. Most are in remote wilderlands, and they make great lairs. The problem if you're "small fry" but not really small, is that if something like a dragon moves in, it gets inhospitable for everyone else, fast.#Realmslore
