what would be the ramifications or conditions to quit or retire from a mercenary group like the Flaming Fist. Would it be possible, or is this a kind of ‘Until Death do as part’ kind of thing? Sure it's possible. Although if you retire openly (under your own name), someone might show up to assassinate you to get even for something you did as a mercenary.
