When it comes to a Barbarian’s Brutal Critical does that additional damage double as well?

Hey Matt I got a question: when it comes to a Barbarian’s Brutal Critical does that additional damage double as well? Thanks a ton! It does not. The additional damage die IS the added benefit of the critical hit.
