Not sure if that has ever been asked, @matthewmercer, but when you design an NPC (villain or not) that is of a class type (wizard, rogue, etc.), do you make them as if they were a PC (feats, class options & abilities, etc.) or summarize them like a monster? Thanks in advance! I tend to summarize them like a monster, choosing some abilities from a class they may be adjacent to, and perhaps adding a few features unique to them. 🙂
