The noble families of Waterdeep are said to each have around 50 servants and mounts enough for each family member and half the servants. So they have around 26 horses each at least. Where do the nobles keep their horses? Do their Waterdeep estates have stables? Yes, almost all noble city mansions and compounds have a SMALL stables (known as "day stables"). Mounts are brought in from, or ridden back to, the country estates every noble family has, most of which are farms along The Long Road (Amphail is on this road).#Realmslore
