Where Misfire rule says “the dice roll is equal to or lower”

@matthewmercer quick question on the Misfire rule. Where it says “the dice roll is equal to or lower”, is “dice roll” considered the literal roll of the die, or the roll + modifiers? pic.twitter.com/4Iv3uJac4h

It means the literal dice roll, without modifiers. This prevents characters from essentially making misfire impossible at level 1. 🙂
