Is it strange that I find it harder to write low-powered Stuff (equipment, spells, whatever) than high-powered? Or is that everybody? High power gives you more levers to flip and dials to turn. Simple, low power stuff only has so much range in which to do things. Hitting the right balance of "meaningful" and "not big magic" is difficult.
