Why do some martial classes not have access to all fighting styles? I’m specifically thinking of not being able to pick Defense for Blood Hunter so maybe @matthewmercer could chime in too. Thanks! For the core classes the options available for Fighting Style reinforce the class’ aesthetic and themes.
Fighters get all of them as the most verastile and capable combatants, paladins and rangers have a constrained list that fits their story.
