D&D worldbuilding question: just how detailed is too detailed? I’m designing my world’s coinage right now and my players appreciate the work I put in for them, but I’m beginning to worry that I’ve gone too far. (Still going to finish the designs, though) Moments of high detail help bring the world to life, but you need not bring that same level to every aspect of your game. Pick and choose the elements you are passionate about fleshing out to that extent, and your players will fill in the gaps. 🙂
