Design question: would it be a faux pas to include proficiency with CR?
Example: CR 30 (prof: +9; 155,000 xp)
It doesn’t fit the style guide, but it could be useful for some on the fly rulings by the DM.#dnd5e #DMsGuild A faux pas in what context?

Is there a drawback in design to including the proficiency mod of a monster? Helpful on the fly.
I could see confusion with DMs who expect monsters MUST follow math. The beholder has slightly better perception than math dictates. This would be counter-helpful. In my experience freelancing, breaking format from expected setup causes more confusion than it alleviates.
In general you don't need to know a monster's specific proficiency bonus on the fly, and if you do there's a chart early in the MM.
Depends on what it's for, though.

I should also say, if you need it and don’t have the progression memorized (it’s the same as for PCs, sub CR for level: starts at +2, increases by +1 every four levels/CR l beyond 1).
